OUR WORK
Child & Youth Programs
Our Child and Youth Program features 25 interactive workshops that bring hands-on and science-based learning to children and youth across the Capital Region District.
Child & Youth Workshops
We deliver child and youth workshops in classrooms, community centres, school gardens, online, and at the Compost Education Centre’s demonstration site. Workshop topics include vermicomposting, soil health, seed saving, pollinators, site tours, and more! All our workshops feature hands on activities and demonstrate climate resiliency practices in action. Our team of educators are enthusiastic about ecology, and they are passionate about helping connect kids to the land we live on. Every year, we teach more than 250 workshops to 5,000+ participants all over the Capital Regional District.
