Board members are expected to…
Attend twelve board meeting per year. They are expected to read board materials in advance of board meetings and to come prepared to ask questions and participate in discussions.
Serve on one or more committees (policy, finance, fundraising, and board development) of the board and to actively participate in committee work.
Work as part of a dynamic team to maintain the successful long term operation of the Compost Education Centre.
Commit to a two-year term consisting of five-ten hours of work per month.
