The Neighbourhood Composting Program aims to offer a community-based solution to local residents who have little to no access to food scrap collection services. Between the inception of the program in April 2020, and August 2021 we have successfully turned 2,549 pounds of food scraps into rich compost. This compost has been used at our demonstration site and in the gardens of the program’s 20 participating households.

The program is currently at capacity, but check back to this page, or subscribe to our monthly newsletter to find out when we are taking on more participants.
